Olivia Wilde Movies: ‘The Lazarus Effect’ Trailer Shows ‘House’ Star As Terrifying Undead! [VIDEO]

Only a few months after giving birth, Olivia Wilde's movies will be all over silver screens in the next months; now, the trailer for her upcoming film "The Lazarus Effect" shows her playing a med student that rises from the dead to become the most disturbing being around.

Mostly known for her television roles, Olivia Wilde's movies, though haven't been few, have seen the actress playing smaller roles, like Justin Timberlake's mother in "In Time" or the blind date in "Her" - now, the "House" actress seems prepare to take on the challenge of a big starring role in a creepy horror film.

According to Slash Films, the latest of Olivia Wilde's movies sees the beautiful actress in a way nobody has ever witnessed her: back from the dead. In "The Lazarus Effect," a film made by the guys who brought the world the "Paranormal Activity" films, the beautiful actress plays a med student who succeeds in the forbidden practice: bringing the dead back to life.

According to Cinema Blend, the issue of the latest of Olivia Wilde's movies starts when a handful of medical students (her, Mark Duplass, Evan Peters and Donald Glover) discover a way to bring dogs back to life, even though the experimental subject becomes fairly creepy after this - kind of like in the Stephen King classic book and its film adaptation, "Pet Sematary."

Afterwards, Wilde's character dies and her boyfriend, Duplass, decides to apply the same method of reliving to her - but, of course, the whole thing ends up going horribly wrong as she's not really the person she was before dying, and something profoundly evil is now going on with the woman, who says she's visited hell.

Screen Rant reports that the newest of Olivia Wilde's movies will be on theaters on February 27th this year - but have a sneak peek right now!
