Stuart Scott, dead after his seven year battle with cancer. The famous ESPN SportsCenter anchor passed away on Sunday in a hospital in Hartford, Connecticut.
Stuart Scott dead news had momentarily stopped the world of the sports media where his co-anchors expressed their grief upon the loss of such a great anchor and friend. The Guardian reported that Scott was praised for his ubiquity and keenness.
Stuart Scott's cancer was diagnosed in 2007. But even after its diagnosis, he never took it as hindrance for his career. He continued his dedication in his profession even series of radiation, surgery and chemotherapies were done in the last seven years.

"He leaves a void that can never be replaced," ESPN president John Skipper said in statement. Upon learning that Stuart Scott, dead ESPN president added that everyone has lost a true friend and a uniquely inspirational figure.

Before Stuart Scott passed away, he accepted the Jimmy V Award. He made a remarkable speech of his life where he said, "when you die it does not mean that you lose to cancer. You beat cancer by how you live, why you live, and in the manner in which you live."
Stuart Scott, dead could be the most painful news at the beginning of the year. But his death will mean something especially to his family, friends, colleagues and followers. He was survived by his two daughters, Taelor Scott and Sydni Scott.
