It is really true that before the Marvel's "Agents of Shield" was quite a disappointment. Viewers were greatly unhappy about the results since their expectation about the show was never met-up. the quality was too low and that the opening episodes of the said show were termed as "formulaic" and there were limited links to immense Marvel Universe.
On the other hand, Phil Coulson is doing good in TV. From films to TV, he moved effortlessly and great. However, there are some doubles that are less convincing though like Brit's double, Fitz and Simmons.
Nevertheless, after that shaky part everything is going back to its normal and starting to pick-up on its midway all throughout the season. The show already changes its direction completely by giving momentous events of The Winter Soldier, no other than, Captain America. But the masterstrokes infiltrated by HYDRA, an old enemy. However, here's the great news because on Season 2 of the series "Agents of SHIELD" it's going to be a lot better and will spare you from disappointments unlike with Season 1.
"Agents of SHIELD" Season 2 has greater sense of purpose as well as brilliants new villain, Kyle MacLachlan's Doctor. Having all of these will make the show worthy and should not be compared to lousy series or even movies turned into TV series. And oh' by the way, "Agents of SHIELD" season 2 is a lot better than Marvel movies in which this show is coming from. So, you better watch out for this!
