The Cleveland Cavaliers has to do most of what they can without LeBron James. The king has already missed the Cav's past two games and is expected to be benched in the next two weeks due to a lingering knee injury.
The Cleveland Cavalier released a medical report on LeBron James and decided to put James on the sideline while recovering from the injury. According to numerous medical examinations and an MRI result, James is sustaining a strain on his left knee as well as his lower back. The medical tests were administered after James complained pain during their game against the Milwaukee Bucks. The Cavs lost their third straight game after a pitiful performance of 96-80.
Cleveland Cavaliers head coach David Blatt said in an interview that his priority is James' full recovery, adding "The season is long and our main objective is that he will be well and strong for the rest of the season. But we have to find out and work every day to build others until he gets back after the time he needs."
LeBron James has already missed the last two games of the Cavs. The Cavs record is 18-11 with James playing on the court while they are going 0-3 if James is left into the sideline. James who is a four time MVP has not missed more than five straights games in his whole professional career; however the two week schedule for his recovery will cause him to miss 10 games, maybe even more if the injury will not heal as expected.
According to reports, James suffered the knee injury while playing against his former team Miami Heat during Christmas Day. On one of the games instances, James fell over the courtside seat while trying to jump over and recover a loose ball. James when asked about the injury said "I've been playing with it, and it goes away and comes back. So, the one in Miami kind of reaggravated it when I came out of the game in the third quarter."
