While the actor has been at the top of his game career-wise in the past couple of years, it seems like Jeremy Renner's wife Sonni Pacheco doesn't quite agree on how good life is currently with the man who plays Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe - barely months after marrying, she has filed for divorce.
Following the success of his role as Hawkeye in the "Avengers" movies (he first appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in "Thor"), Renner has had a very successful couple of years: he was cast as the Matt Damon replacement in "The Bourne Legacy" and had a role in the award-winning David O'Russell film "American Hustle" - but Jeremy Renner's wife has made it clear that things aren't right at home.
According to TMZ, Jeremy Renner's wife Sonni has just filed divorce documents from the star, and she's citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reasons for the split. However, incredibly enough, that's not nearly the most shocking part: she's demanding that he return her passport, birth certificate and social security card!
It is unknown when exactly Sonni became Jeremy Renner's wife, as the very private actor just revealed the marriage to the world last September, according to The Huffington Post - but in the divorce filing, Pacheco has stated that they have been married since January. However, they have been an item for a while and even have a baby daughter together, Ava Berlin, who was born in March 2013.
According to The New York Daily News, it seems like the divorce between Renner and Pacheco might be getting nasty within the next few months; the Canadian model, who is about two decades older than the "Hurt Locker" star, has asked for physical custody of their infant daughter and has stated that, even though there is a prenup, it should be tossed over "fraud," though Jeremy Renner's wife failed to specify what she meant by this.
