The two beautiful and very talented actresses Keira Knightley and Anne Hathaway have a few things in common, like being often called in to the Academy Awards (Keira has a nomination to her name for "Pride & Prejudice," while Hathaway has one nod for "Rachel Getting Married" and a win for "Les Miserables") but it seems that, for many people, they also look just like each other!
According to MSN.com, the revelation regarding the Keira Knightley and Anne Hathaway confusion came as the "Atonement" star was in the middle of an interview with an Australian newspaper, where the newly pregnant actress commented that she had been confused with the Oscar winner recently.
"At the airport a woman mistook me for Anne Hathaway,'' Knightley told The Daily Telegraph. "Actually I think I have to apologize to Anne Hathaway because the woman thought I was being really rude as Anne Hathaway not giving her a picture as Anne Hathaway but I was really only saying that I promised I wasn't Anne Hathaway - which I am not.''
Of course, the resemblance between Keira Knightley and Anne Hathaway is definitely there, as they're both brunette beauties; though Knightley is slimmer, her skin is a bit darker than that of very fair Hathaway; also, she does have that British accent going on, not to mention she's currently expecting her first child with husband James Righton, from the indie rock band Klaxtons.
However, more than a resemblance between Keira Knightley and Anne Hathaway, it might make a little more sense to confuse the British actress with another beautiful Oscar-winning American performer, according to Gawker: Natalie Portman. They even acted together in "Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace" ... in any case,they're three of the most beautiful women in the world!
