Oladipo Helps Magic Won At Heat; Ends 10 Game Losing Streak

Orlando Magic's shooting guard Victor Oladipo emerged as the hero of the night when his team won over the highly rated Miami Heat in a heart stopping game in the American Airlines Arena. Oladipo made the most critical plays in the final moments of the game and helped the Magic beat the Heat, 102-101.

Late in the fourth quarter, the Heat led the Magic by four points with only 1:38 left in the game clock, unfortunately for the Heat they will never score again for the remainder of the regulation. Victor Olapido made three game changing plays in the final minute and 22 seconds of the game. First he made an assist to Nikola Vucevic after that he tied the game with a layup with just 43 seconds left in the game and finally made one of his two free throws that gave the Magic the win after a 10 game losing streak.

The Miami Heat on the other hand had not lost to the Orlando Magic since March of 2012. Unfortunately, despite the return of starting center Chris Bosh, the Heat is still unable to find a remedy to their home game losing streak. The Heat is still working out a remedy to their shocking 6-12 record when playing at home. Dwayne Wade, scored 25 points in the game 15 of those all made in the fourth quarter, sadly he missed his final shot, the shot that could have won them the game. Chris Bosh, straight from injury scored 20 points and Danny Granger added 21 points on a 6 for 7 rampage on the three point area.

Interesting enough, Dwayne Wade and Victor Oladipo have been separately coached by Tom Crean during their college days. Crean coached Wade while he is playing for Marquette and Oladipo played for Crean at Indiana.
