People who love to experiment with their drinks and also try out new things should be delighted with the creation of the Next Glass app, which chooses new wines and beers depending on the user's taste in these drinks, making the process of guessing a thing of the past.
According to Life Hacker, the way the Next Glass app works is simple: first off, it asks users about their preferences in wine and beer (from mainstream beers to the more low key craft ones that have been becoming increasingly popular) and then chooses others you might not know according to your tastes.
However, it's not only that the app will recommend you beers: you actually hold your phone up to the label of a drink (be it wine or beer) and the Next Glass app will say whether you'd like the drink or not, The Huffington Post reports. The app will rate the beer on a scale, basing itself on your taste.
According to Ksby, the way this works is that the app reads the chemical composition of the beverage you say you enjoy, and rates the beer or wine bottle in front of you according to whether you'd like its composition of flavors based on the previous ones.
"Everyone needs a little assistance and it's hard when there's a full wall of wine to make a final choice, something that tailors to your needs is wonderful, I'm very excited," said Robin Puricelli, the wine director at Foremost Wine Company, talking about the possibilities behind the Next Glass app.
