LeBron James Loses His First Game Against Miami

It was not a happy Christmas for LeBron James after he and his Cavaliers lost his first game against his former team Miami Heat. The Christmas day matchup marks James' first ever return to the American Airlines Arena after he signed with the Cleveland Cavaliers in a highly controversial decision of the superstar.

Despite James' effort, scoring 30 points, the Miami Heat emerged on top despite the absence of Chris Bosh due to a lingering calf injury. Dwayne Wade a total of 31 points, Luol Deng managed to add 25 points grab eight rebounds and dished out eight assists. The game finished 101-91.

Before signing in with Cleveland Cavaliers, LeBron James helped the Miami Heat to win two titles putting the team's total championship to four. Before the final buzzer James was seen hugging his former teammates. LeBron James and Dwayne Wade were seen talking and laughing before the start of the game as well as in the start of the second half. James and Wade had another conversation after the game was done.

The Cleveland Cavalier only managed to lead once in the game after LeBron James dunked the ball in a transition play early in the fourth quarter. However, James was called for a technical foul after he hangs in the rim for too long. The free throw was made so technically the Cavs leads only lasted zero seconds.

LeBron almost did not finish the entire game. Early in the third quarter James was seen limping after he leaped in the baseline seats as he tries to catch a lob pass from Kevin Love. Official team statement said that James in not injured. After LeBron went back to the game, Kyrie Irving left the court after sustaining a basketball pass right straight into his face.

LeBron James scored 30 points; Kyrie Irving added 25 points and Kevin Love scored 14. Dwayne Wade, the game's best player scored 31 points.
