As he becomes more and more famous following his award-nominated role as Stephen Hawking in the biopic "The Theory of Everything," Eddie Redmayne interviews can now be seen all over the web - in the last one, he tells the amazing story of who his first "famous" crush was!
It's award season, and those stars that have already been nominated to the Golden Globes and Screen Actors Guild will be appearing everywhere as they walk the road to the Oscars - and as such, there will be plenty of Eddie Redmayne interviews to go through.
According to United Kingdom outlet Metro, the latest Eddie Redmayne interview with Graham Norton exposes who the actor was crushing on when he was little and, surprise, it wasn't even human but rather a cartoon of a feline: he felt a "sexual awakening" with Nala, from "The Lion King"!
According to Us Weekly, the Eddie Redmayne interview - which also featured "Into the Wild" actress Anna Kendrick and Liam Neeson - had the "Les Miserables" actor blushing and laughing when Norton, famous for digging up embarrassing things about his guests, asked him about a previous interview where Redmayne had stated that his first crush was on Nala, from the 1990s Disney classic "The Lion King".
"I was once interviewed and I was asked, like, who your first crush is," Redmayne said, according to Jezebel, only moments after jokingly stated he hated Norton for bringing it up. "And I did...I loved The Lion King when I was younger and I had a weird obsession with Nala."
Graham Norton then went on to ask whether he also liked Maid Marian from Disney's "Robin Hood," to which he replied that he did, although she was a fox. Now, funnily enough, his fellow interviewee Anna Kendrick was quick to go to his rescue during the Eddie Redmayne interview, speaking up about how she thought Robin Hood was "quite sexy" in that same movie.
