Renee Zellweger now with different looks has created frenzied reactions earlier this year. The 45-year-old actress was criticized for her "older looks" and different angle that spurred rumors that she went under the knife. This week, British actress Naomi Watts came forward to defend Renee Zellweger.
Now, as Naomi Watts pose for the cover of the Instyle UK magazine for February 2015 issue, she came in defense of what people claim as Renee Zellweger now.
During her interview, the British actress said that "The backlash was cruel and unnecessary. I saw a picture and I thought she looked great! She looked amazing! Leave her alone! You can't win can you?" She added Renee Zellweger now looks great!
Naomi Watts defense of Renee Zellweger is not the first time, earlier Hollywood actress Reese Witherspoon expressed her view of Zellweger and said that Renée's criticisms were "cruel, rude and disrespectful" the MalayMail Online reports.
During the interview, after defending Renee Zellweger now appearance, Watts had also talked about having plastic surgery and her view on Hollywood stars pressure when it comes to their looks. The British actress not sure if she will have it, said that she's not closing the doors.
She said that whoever wants to have herself modified could do it freely. Watts also stated growing older is not easy as you watch yourself age.
Watts had also expressed her negative feeling about women tearing down other women. "And why do we have to tear other women down to build another woman up? It drives me crazy." In defense with Renee Zellweger, now the British actress said that looks has always been related to judgment and assault.
Naomi Watts also talked about her friend Nicole Kidman saying that she and Kidman have always remained friends despite distance. The British actress has been friends with Kidman for roughly 30 years now. She added they always picked up where they left.
Renee Zellweger now looks far different from her younger years, but just like Witherspoon and Watts, women should not tear down women. Whoever wants to go through plastic surgery can freely do that for herself. There should be no criticisms and judgment.
