What You Need To Know About The Whole30 Diet

Do you believe that a diet can eliminate all traces of the unwanted body fat you have acquired without having to exercise or limiting your calorie intake? The Whole30 diet claims that they can do that for dieters who want to follow the diet.

The Whole30 diet means no grains, no dairy products, no sugar, and no legumes for a whole month. You cannot eat sandwiches, yogurts, pizzas, chips, cereals, cheese and so much more for the whole time you are on the diet in order to achieve the shape you have been working for.

According to Melissa Hartwig, a sports nutritionist in Salt Lake City and the co-founder of the said Whole30 diet points out that the diet may seem as difficult as it sounds but said that there are much harder things in life.

The Whole30 diet will be asking you to cut out the major food groups and the pounds will slowly disappear in thin air and your body shape will definitely transform as well as your preferences for food will forever change.

According to Hartwig, once you are done with the whole month of undergoing the diet, slowly reintroduce the foods that you have cut out and figure out what does not affect you positively such as giving you low energy or making it difficult for you to have a good night's sleep. Others even reported that the Whole30 diet treats diseases such as diabetes, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and fibromyalgia.

So what are the things that you can eat for this diet? Meat, eggs, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and seafood. As for what you can't chow down on, sugar, alcohol, oats, rice, quinoa, beans, chickpeas and dairy.

The Whole30 Diet has been invented back in 2009 when Hartwig and her husband, Dallas, a physical therapist and a nutritionist launched a book about dieting and food. A website has then been launched and dieters who follow the said diet are able to post their before and after photos in order to inspire the others.
