Cracker Barrel Waitress Receives Tip - One Waitress who works for the Cracker Barrel in Missouri received a hefty if not impossible tip: a car.
The unbelievable moment took place on Dec. 2, as Cindi Grady was working her shift and a couple who regularly ate there decided to replace the waitress' current car with another one.
Grady owned a blue 2002 Hyundai Accent, which had a shattered front passenger side window that was stuck in the down position and the open panel was covered in a plastic bag, NY Daily News noted.
The Tackett couple, Gary and Roxann saw the car in which the waitress drove to work in and decided to do something about. So, they bought her a new car.
"We've been watching you drive that [old] car all summer. We decided that you needed something better... Merry Christmas," Gary told Grady in the video.
The one filming the entire event was the Tackett's daughter and she posted it on Facebook later with a heart-warming message included.
"My parents are the most generous, kind-hearted, loving people I know. I'm so proud to be their daughter! Merry Christmas!" was how she ended the note after explaining the circumstances before the gift was given to the Cracker Barrel's waitress.
She explained that the Tackett couple had only known the waitress since the summer as they went to eat regularly to the Cracker Barrel since then. They are originally from Arkansas.
Grady also gave a response to the video afterwards.
"One co-worker said that they were glad they worked that day, it had restored his faith in humanity."
Apart from that, Grady also explained that her insurance agent waived their fees, and her mechanic put in a third brake-light for free.
Last but not least, the Cracker Barrel waitress thanked God for all these people who were sent to her and showed nothing but kindness. Now, that's a true incommensurable tip she received.
