TIME person of the year 2014 nominees for online poll had already picked a winner. Online voters chose Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi who garnered 78 percent votes against other candidates. Prime Minister Modi was acknowledged for his winning leadership in pursuing economic development in India.
TIME person of the year 2014 nominees include Tim Cook for launching successful Apple flagship devices iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus during the late quarter of the year that beat all set records on devices sales.
