Jerry Hall Slams Plastic Surgery: Mick Jagger’s Ex Calls Hollywood Women Under The Knife ‘Pathetic’

For Mick Jagger's ex, going under the knife is no option: Jerry Hall slams plastic surgery on older actresses working in Hollywood, claiming they end up looking pathetic and insecure.

Having lived surrounded by the entertainment industry for almost four decades, Hall definitely knows a thing or two about the way Hollywood works - and particularly how things go for older celebrities; and now, the words of the mother of four of the children of legendary The Rolling Stones front man Mick Jagger were nothing but harsh, as Jerry Hall slams plastic surgery.

The latest news behind the Jerry Hall slams plastic surgery comes from a recent interview on Hello! Magazine, where she also talked at length about her previous relationship with Mick Jagger and how they're still keeping in touch for their four children: Elizabeth Scarlett, James Leroy, Georgia May and Gabriel Luke; the eldest is now 30, while the youngest is 17.

"It's so idiotic when they risk their lives to have surgery," said the former Mrs. Jagger, as Jerry Hall slams plastic surgery. "Every time you have anesthesia, you're killing a lot of brain cells - why would you do that? You could get infections, you could die. Why make yourself look a grotesque caricature of yourself? They don't fool anyone. They look like pathetic, insecure creatures. I loathe the whole thing."

As Us Weekly reports, it's fairly clear what Hall's thoughts on the knife are! The model and actress is now 58 years old and still looks great, though definitely around her age - as she's made clear she wouldn't go through with the Hollywood ritual.

Plastic surgery in Hollywood has been the talk of the town over the past few weeks, after the highly controversial appearance of Oscar-winning actress Renee Zellweger in the red carpet, looking entirely unrecognizable from her days of movies like "Chicago" and "Bridget Jones' Diary."

Not too long after that, Julia Roberts stated that she took a huge risk in her career by not going through facelifts, something that has become a passing ritual in women of Hollywood after their 40s.

It's not bad at all that Jerry Hall slams plastic surgery, as this way there are more voices to combat this kind of extremes that Hollywood actresses go through to keep getting work in the industry.
