The feud between Kesha and Dr. Luke over claims of sexual allegations has thrown in another household name as Kesha's lawyer has stated Lady Gaga has also been raped by the record producer after the artist revealed she was raped when she was 19.
Lady Gaga just recently talked about the revelation and hours after, she finds herself being part of a legal suit.
Lady Gaga was on "The Howard Stern Show" and she talked about her new song "Swine", which is about rape. She then talked about it and it has made headlines. However, the lawyer of Kesha, Mark Geragos, took it to Twitter to take advantage of the spotlight.
Geragos tweeted: "#namethepervert" then one Twitter user said "Dr. Luke" in the comments to which Geragos replied "#bingo." Geragos has been handling the case of Kesha against Dr. Luke claiming that the producer has abused the singer sexually, physically and emotionally. However, Dr. Luke's camp says it's just an attempt to extort money from the producer and his company.
In response to what Geragos accused of Luke linking the rape revelation of Lady Gaga, his rep stated, "Mark Geragos' statement is completely false and defamatory. Luke met Lady Gaga twice for less than half an hour total in those two meetings combined. He has never been alone with her and never touched her. Neither meeting was in that time frame reported."
Lady Gaga's publicist also responded to the claims of Kesha's lawyer saying: "This ridiculous, manufactured link between Lady Gaga and the Kesha-Dr. Luke lawsuit is utterly incomprehensible. This simply isn't true and how dare someone take advantage of such a sensitive matter."
Geragos was asked for a comment and said that he tweeted it because it's the truth. His earlier tweets are still up on his Twitter page.
