Michael Watkins said that her mother tried to kill him so he did it for self-defense. It was not clear why her mother was trying to kill him. Following the incident, an autopsy will be conducted to finalize the cause of death of the Florida woman shot with arrows by her son, Michael Watkins.
The final report states that Michael Watkins, the son of Florida woman shot with arrows admitted to the brutal killing of her own mother by shooting her three times in the head with a handgun and using a bow and arrow before she stabbed her to death.
A neighbor of the Watkins told the police officers that Michael Watkins appeared to be friendly and ideal son to her mother. He said that Michael transferred with her mother in their home in Mary Esther, Florida one year ago to assist her.
