Whoopi Goldberg And Rosie O’Donnell Clash Over Ferguson And Cosby: Things Get Heated On ‘The View’ Backstage

More often than not, there are new rumors of huge issues backstage in "The View" - in the latest one, it seems that there was a huge clash between Whoopi Goldberg and Rosie O'Donnell which led both actresses fuming and Rosie Perez in tears.

Things are too often terrible in the set of "The View," as it's full of highly opinionated people who can't seem to reach a middle ground when they're talking to their fellow workers. According to New York Daily News, it seems that the latest stint regarding clashes was between actresses Whoopi Goldberg and Rosie O'Donnell.

Apparently, the brawl between Whoopi Goldberg and Rosie O'Donnell started because Rosie wanted to discuss the latest uncomfortable topics, more specifically what's happening in Ferguson; however, Whoopi was more of the idea that they should clear away from these topics all together.

This, of course, didn't bode well with O'Donnell, and they went through a bitter dispute backstage on how to handle the situation when they were on air. Ultimately, Whoopi Goldberg and Rosie O'Donnell ended up talking about the topics, but it didn't prevent them from having gone through a heavy conflict beforehand.

However, according to The Daily Mail, this wasn't the first time Whoopi Golberg and Rosie O'Donnell clashed in the last few days. Just a few days ago, Rosie Perez was talking about the Bill Cosby sex scandal that has been all over the news for the past few weeks, saying there was no way the allegations could be proven as true or false, and that perhaps the way the corporations who had once supported Cosby weren't handling things in the best way.

This caused O'Donnell to fume, saying Perez was more concerned with how the whole thing looked on social media than what it actually meant for the victims. Whoopi attended to calm O'Donnell down, but it seems she was having none of that, and she seemed evidently disgusted by the way the conversation was going.

Ultimately, both incidents regarding Whoopi Goldberg and Rosie O'Donnell left Perez in fairly poor condition - after the backstage brawl, reports say that Perez broke into tears and was comforted by producers.
