The Taliban confirms responsibility over the Kabul suicide bomb attack on the UK Embassy car. Hours later, the insurgents attacked Kabul's diplomatic quarter that led to exchange of gunfire in Wazir Akbar Khan district.
The British national who died in the bomb attack on the UK embassy car was a member of the UK embassy security team while the other Afghan killed was also a member of the Afghan security forces. More than 30 bystanders including innocent children were also hit by the unexpected suicide bomber.
The Kabul suicide bomb attack on the UK Embassy car happened at the Jalalabad Road in east of the Afghan capital that tore down three vehicles. It took place around 10:30 a.m. local time. Aside from the mentioned officials, one translator has also died in the gruesome attack, according to The Guardians.
The Kabul bomb attacker on the embassy car was not yet confirmed. Some witnesses say that a motorcycle suicide attacked the UK embassy car, while some says that a Toyota Corolla car hit the British car and detonated.

Before the Kabul bomb attack on the embassy car on Thursday, two American soldiers died in a powerful bombing near the airport. There were also reported five more attacks killing Afghan officials and civilians.
Since the start of the year, about 4,600 Afghan security forces members and roughly 5,000 Afghan civilians were killed. The bloody attacks had made the lives of the Afghan more difficult for them to survive in a country driven by the Islamist Taliban.
