Unfortunately, there are lots of nutritional myths we heard from our grandmother, friends, and even from internet so far. However, we are still lucky today because expert nutritionists and dietician will correct this misinformation for FREE!
Myth #1: We need to detoxify our body through juice cleansing. Here's the fact here, there's no way you can detoxify your body the fastest way you want by simply taking a lot juice and stop eating everything, just pure fresh fruit juice. Well, it's not bad at all if you want to drink fresh juice, but starving yourself is an issue. Eat fruits that will help you and eat nutritious foods instead of nothing at all, plus don't drink any alcoholic beverages.
Myth #2: Diet sodas are not effective. Well, according to study conducted taking diet sodas are effective. In fact, people who consider this reduce their weight up to 13 pounds, average. Also, those people who took diet sodas felt satisfied.
Myth #3: Canola oil is toxic is another misinformation because it is 100% safe and one of the healthiest oils. It is less saturated and good for the heart because of its omega-3 compound content compared to other oils. Canola oil is from crushed seeds of the canola plants and not from the canola plant itself which is very harmful.
Myth #4: Sea salt compared to table salt has less sodium. You'll be surprised that both salts have the same sodium content. So, it really doesn't matter if you are using Himalayan salt or table salt. In terms of minerals, well, neither of the two salts contains many minerals as we think one of them is better than the other.
Myth #5: In order to change bad habit it takes 21 days before you can finally break that. Actually, there's no timeframe about changing habits because it actually depends on how decisive you are and how such bad habit will be handled. Of course, it can be longer than 21 days or can be done even within a week. So, don't be discouraged nor be too relaxed because no one will help you more than you do to yourself.
