News of Michael Schumacher's coma shocked the world last year, after the famous Formula 1 racer went through a terrible skiing accident that almost took his life - months later, it looks like Schumacher might never be the same.
After it was first announced that after he'd gone through a skiing accident in the French Alps, Michael Schumacher's coma was induced to lower the pain he was going through after severe head injuries on December 2013. He has since regained consciousness.
Earlier this year, back in June, it was announced that Michael Schumacher's coma was no longer a reality, and his teenage son Mick (with whom he was at the time of the accident last December) told a family friend that his father was slowly waking up, but that now it would be a long process of recovery.
The most recent news regarding Michael Schumacher's coma and condition came over the past weekend, as his manager Sabine Kehm went on record with several news outlets to let the world know about the F1 star and World Champion, according to the National Post.
It seems that Schumacher's making progress as time goes on, although it's still too early to tell what will be happening now, as the recovery process from a head injury as hard as the one he had takes a while. Schumacher's manager also thanked the press for having slowed down on the obsessive following of the racer's condition, as this is a hard process for Schumacher and his family, according to IBN Live.
Former racer driver Philippe Streiff reportedly saw Schumacher when he was in Intensive Care at the French Grenoble Hospital, and according to The Daily Mail, he has stated that the seven-time World Champion is currently paralyzed, unable to speak and in a wheelchair.
Now, the former Ferrari and Mercedes racer has now returned to his family in Gland (his home near Geneva, in Switzerland), after months of being bound to a hospital, as well as Michael Schumacher's coma.
