Nick Cannon Will Host Lifestyles Of The Rich And Famous

The syndicated series of Lifestyles Of the Rich and Famous is said to be revived by NBC and the only change is that Robin Leach will no longer host it as Nick Cannon got the spot.

The America's Got Talent host has landed the job and the reboot a year ago but back then, although he already signed the deals and the papers, the revival no longer moved forward. It was originally with Style Network now known as the Esquire Network.

NBC is said to have a fresh approach regarding the lifestyles they will be showing as opposed to Esquire's method. They pressed that the new version will be focusing mainly on the point of view of the host as fun profiles and ultra-wealthy people with vibrant personalities, varying tastes, and hobbies will be featured.

NBC added that there will be new tech billionaires that have overshadowed the real estate tycoons back then in order to prove that they are indeed looking at the revival at a fresher angle.

Cannon said, "Robin Leach passed the torch to me, now I'm producing and hosting the new Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. You know what? I think rich and famous people take themselves too seriously. I'm gonna be just like I am on this show [America's Got Talent]. I'll be like what the hell? Gold toilet seats?! Let's pop bottles."

Cannon added that he never felt like he was ever rich nor famous so he could not be featured on the said series.

The executive producers of the show will include Tom Forman and Jason Raff, the same producers of America's Got Talent and Cannon is said to also be part of the exec produce via his network-based NCredible Entertainment banner. Cannon is said to be expanding his relationship both with Raff and NBC.
