Angelina Jolie Wedding Gift To Brad Pitt, Straight From Hemingway! Find Out More About Brangelina Token Of Love

It seems that Angelina Jolie's wedding gift to new husband Brad Pitt had the Oscar-winning actress going all out for her partner of ten years: she got him the typewriter of Nobel Literature Prize laureate Ernest Hemingway.

Now that the news of Jolie's wedding gift to Brad has come out, there's even less doubt for whom the bell tolls in Hollywood: it tolls for thee, Brangelina!

The famous couple that was one of the first ones to get a blend word name got married recently after a long-standing relationship of one decade and six children, three of them adopted and three biological. The Farrow family aside, Brad and Angelina's big home full of children is one of the most famous big families in the entertainment industry.

After such an important celebration of the couple's love, it is no surprise that Jolie's wedding gift to Brad was such a big, beautiful deal. According to celebrity news site TMZ, the actress had first aimed to give her new hubby the typewriter of Southern playwright Tennessee Williams, the author of plays like "A Streetcar Named Desire" and "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof," both of which were first adapted to the screen for the first time in the 1950s and featured legendary actors such as Marlon Brando, Viven Leigh, Elizabeth Taylor and Paul Newman.

This would have been the perfect Jolie wedding gift, due to the large connection the author had with the city of New Orleans ("Streetcar" takes its name from the city's famous public transportation system).

Ever since the Hurricane Katrina swept through the history-filled Louisiana city, Pitt has shown interest in New Orleans' renewal, being the face behind the Make It Right Foundation, which aims to rebuild the urban areas with environmentally sustainable new homes.

According to the UK news outlet The Mirror, Angelina first approached Steve Soboroff, a famous collector as well as the Los Angeles Police Commission President, and tried to get Williams' typewriter, but Soboroff wouldn't sell it, so Jolie's wedding gift had to be settled at Hemingway's old Underwood, where he had written his work from the 1930s.

Even thought he collector didn't wish to sell that one either, the beautiful star of the "Lara Croft" franchise made him an offer he just couldn't refuse: $250,000, according to Perez Hilton, an amazing though undoubtedly deserved price for such an amazing collector's item, which surely Brad absolutely loved.

While it is safe to assume that Jolie's wedding gift was a total hit with her new husband, it's still unclear what Brad gave her. However, considering what an awesome pair these two make, it was surely something just as epic!
