43 missing Mexican students are yet to be found though current evidence suggests that the 43 students were abducted and later murdered by members of a Mexican criminal gang. The story, according to three self confessed criminal gangs, only happened with the collaboration of top city police men and the mayor of the city.
The 43 missing Mexican students may have been murdered in cold blood, current evidence goes to show Three self confessed gang members Patricio Reyes Landa, Jhonathan Osorio Gomez and Agustin Garcia Reyes, admitted to receiving the students from the police and later taking them to a dumpster and killing each of them. They then admitted to the burning of the bodies in a diesel fore that lasted 14 hours, making sure no evidence was left. The remaining body parts were then gathered and put in bags and dumped inside the river.
The 43 missing Mexican students went missing in September. They had left their school on September 26 where they travelled in buses towards a demonstration that would be conducted in nearby Iguala. The demonstration was about the lack of funding in their school.
The Iguala mayor, on notification that the bus of students was coming to disrupt his meeting, ordered the police to arrest the students. The police confronted the students three times on their journey. In the process, three students were killed.
The remaining students were then marched to the police cells where they were kept for a while before the Iguala mayor gave the red light for the students to be handed over to members of the Guerreros Unidos gang.
The Iguala mayor has since been arrested together with his wife. 74 other people have been arrested as a result of the abducted students' disappearance.
As parents of the students remain hopeful that their children are still alive, nationwide protests have hit the nation in North America. The protesters combated the police in various cities and towns in Mexico. The fate of the 43 missing Mexican students is yet to be officially confirmed despite all the evidence corresponding to the murder confession.
