Channing Tatum Dismisses Divorce Rumors, Talks About Drug Use and Magic Mike XXL

Stripper-turned-actor Channing Tatum has been featured in the November 14 issue of "The Hollywood Reporter" and he talked about the divorce rumors surrounding him and his wife, using drugs in the past and his upcoming movie "Magic Mike XXL".

The star first talked about drug use saying that he was not really losing himself in drugs since he was not doing it habitually. Rather, he said it was something close to "experimenting" as he never really used the big ones such as crack or heroin. He added he never overdosed or anything like that.

He was asked about using cocaine and he admitted that he did and the 34-year-old star added that drinking was more of the bigger issue but pressed that it was not a drinking problem. Instead, he put it this way saying there was a time in his life when it was mainly a 'Let's go out and have a great time' kind of situation.

He also cleared his statement back in the June2014 issue of GQ magazine as he called himself a "functioning alcoholic." He told The Hollywood Reporter that it was more of him talking about being able to do things in extreme and it was not supposed to be taken factually.

He then moved on to talk about being a stripper. He said he used to make 150 bucks on good nights and 70 on bad nights. He talked about the sequel of Magic Mike noting that it's about him and his gang getting back together for the last time.

The star also talked about his marriage with 33-year-old Jenna Dewan Tatum as well as her 17-months-old child Everly. He added that the divorce rumors are not true at all pressing that it's all part of a report published in the tabloids and talked about not yet planning about having another baby.

He also talked about fatherhood noting that he is learning the ropes and pressed that there's not enough hours every day for him to be able to work as an actor and give a lot of time to his family especially to his daughter.

He added, "You can't really physically be fully present-mentally, spiritually. And that's my struggle: putting things in perspective [and] being there for everything."
