Melissa Rivers Sue - It had been said before that Melissa Rivers would sue the Yorkville Doctors. Finally, it's now a fact. Melissa Rivers is proceeding with the law suit.

The aim of Melissa Rivers is not monetary, not exclusively anyway. She wants to know what happened to her mother in that room. How it was that a surgery which was "procedure" and "safe" ended up the way it did.

To find out the truth behind the entire endoscopy, she hired one of New York's most prestigious law firms: Gair, Gair, Conason, Steigman, Mackauf, Bloom & Rubinowitz.

The exclusive firm was awarded the "Law Firm of the year" by U.S. News, so Melissa Rivers should be in more than good hands with the case.

"In order to fully determine all of the facts and circumstances surrounding the death of Joan Rivers we confirm that our firm has been engaged by Melissa Rivers and her family," the firm shared and the Daily Mail noted.

The main doctor who performed the surgery was revealed previously as Gwen Korovin. She is a specialist in ear, nose and throat.

As a matter of fact, she has performed surgeries on other celebrities such as: Hugh Jackman, Julie Andrews, Celine Dion, among others. She was also denied to have taken a "selfie" with Rivers during the procedure.

This same doctor charges $460 for an initial consultation and she does not take insurance.

The cause of death of Rivers was a "therapeutic complication," which according a spokeswoman who the NY Daily News quoted, said "That means the death resulted from a predictable complication of medical therapy."

In other words, there are too many unexplained matters. On the other hand, Korovin's lawyer has stated that the doctor is legally not permitted to share information about her patients.

So, it will be a matter of seeing how things unfold with Melissa Rivers and the law suit.
