Iraq Car Bombings- Dozens of people have been injured while at least 34 have been killed due to Iraq Car Bombing in Baghdad.

Iraqi authorities revealed that there were two car bombings incidents that took place in Baghdad. One was with a suicide attacker driving a Humvee that killed at least 24 people and another bombing that happened in the capital killing atleast 10 people.

One of the most fatal Iraq car bombings that happened was outside the capital, in Sunni town of Jurf al-Skhar where the attacker smashed his Humvee loaded with explosives into the checkpoint. It immediately killed at least 24 members of the Shiite militia and injured 25 people.

Beginning the month of October, at least 590 people were already killed due to suicide and car bombings that targeted mosques, large checkpoints and open markets. Baghdad residents feared that the Shiite militias are unstable and are becoming powerless to protect the capital from the Sunni militants of ISIS.

With Prime Minister Haider al Abadi's effort to fight against ISIS, he had successfully won in asking tribesmen to fight with over the ISIS. Since Baghdad can't be taken solely by the ISIS militants, they began successive Iraq car bombings and suicide attacks killing hundreds of civilians.

According to International Business Times, Baghdad residents claim that the militant groups are aiming at Iraq car bombings and suicide bomb attacks on major locations in Baghdad. Those target areas include the Karrada and Kadumia checkpoints, the national theater and the neighborhood of Baghdad al.

As Iraq bombings are becoming frequent, the lives of the civilians are at stake and no one is safe in the city. The Iraqi officials can only increase numbers of mobile checkpoints in the capital. Today, there are around 1, 000 checkpoints including the small and mobile ones.
