The journalism world is mourning the death of a celebrated news anchor Terry Keenan. Fox news took a moment to celebrate the anchor through a short recognition of her work in their news coverage with Neil Cavuto. Neil recognized the former business news anchor, recalling that she was the lynchpin behind the Cost of Freedom Fox News. She was also the much acclaimed host of the show Cashin In, which Fox news played reruns of.
Cavuto went ahead to state that in his many years working for Fox, he has never once met a person who did not like Terry.
Terry Keenan graduated from John Hopkins University in 1983. She had earned her degree in mathematics. Keenan began her journalism career as the producer of PBS Wall Street Weekly. She joined CNN news later in 1986, as the producer of Money Line. She later became an online correspondent of the network. She reported on the New York Stock Exchange. She joined Fox news in 2002, working as both an anchor and business correspondent. She left the network in 2009. Despite her many TV appearances, many will remember the Terry Keenan Fox news anchor for her show Cashin' In.
Terry Keenan was most recently a newspaper columnist, writing Sunday articles for the New York Post.
Her family released a statement after her death stating, "It is with tremendous sorrow that we report the passing ... of a wonderful mother, wife, sister and pioneering financial journalist."
Keenan is survived by her husband Ryan Kass, her son benno Kass and her long time sisters Joellen Gardner and Linda Keenan. The whole world will remember the late Terry Keenan, Fox news anchor and correspondent.
