Quaker Oats unveils the "100 Reasons to Rise," a photo series capturing the morning rituals of 100 round-the-way heroes and sheroes aged 1 to 100, photographed by acclaimed artist Misan Harriman.
Quaker is serving up a hearty bowl of motivation and culture with their latest campaign, "100 Reasons to Rise." This thought-provoking photo series, helmed by an emotionally stunning visual storyteller named Misan Harriman spotlights 100 ordinary peeps aged 1 to 100 as they fuel up on grub for a pivotal day in their lives.
From a one-year-old ring bearer at a wedding to an 86-year-old salsa dancer, Harriman's striking black-and-white pictorial narratives capture the raw, inspirational humanity of our neighbor's daily routines. Each image is accompanied by an audio interview, offering intimate glimpses into the subject's life and the significance of the day the pic was shot. We listened to subject Ellie's story on the site, and we're not gonna lie - we got verklempt. No spoilers - you need to check it out for yourself. It's a poignant reminder that how we start our days can set the tone for everything that follows.
To bring this inspiring project to life, Quaker launched an immersive digital experience at 100ReasonsToRise.com, where you can explore the photos and audio stories. Quaker is taking a step further by touring the exhibit #irl, kicking off in Toronto on April 10th at The Harbourfront Centre, before taking over the city's iconic Union Station from April 17th to 19th. Future stops in other major cities are in the works, so stay tuned. This is a must-see, even if it is just a marketing campaign for oats! We are predicting a Cannes Lion and/or a Shorty Award for this marketing campaign.
