Dunkin' featured Boston buddies Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, along with former New England Patriot Tom Brady in a Super Bowl commercial to introduce America to their new middle-aged boy band "The Dunkings." The commercial was well received but it had unexpected results a few minutes later.
Dunkin' had released the tracksuits donned by the fellas in the video for sale online and the response was massive. Viewers raced to the Dunkin's site to score some threads. The line (which also included drink tumblers and a Dunkin' bucket hat) was sold out in under 20 minutes according to Business Wire.
Dunkin' has been releasing fan-schwag for a while. In 2019 they launched a whole line of Dunkin' holiday gifts that included a guitar, adult onesies, and hair scrunchies. Then in '22, Dunkin' partnered with cosmetics company E.L.F. for a wildly popular makeup line inspired by the donut maker's colors.
