Christina Aguilera Returns to her Red Seat in The Voice Season 8

The 33 year old pop singer Christina Aguilera who just recently gave birth in August to her second child was with fiancé Matthew Rutler is returning to NBC's The Voice. After resting for some months, the blonde stunner will be joining other coaches including Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, and the seventh season new coach Pharrell.

Aguilera will be returning as original coach replacing Gwen Stefani who took her seat while she was on her maternity leave. The pop singer is joining season 8 after taking off on fourth, sixth and seventh season. Shakira and Gwen Stefani replaced her while she was on leave on the said months.

Shakira took the throne in Aguilera's absence in seasons four and six, while Stefani served as a reliever coach on season seven.

 "We are excited to welcome Christina back to her red chair and can't wait to see how she mixes things up among Adam, Blake and Pharrell, in what will be an incredibly competitive competition," stated by Paul Telegdy, president of alternative and late night programming at NBC Entertainment. "These four talented artists are at the top of their game as musicians and as coaches. The mentoring is sure to be intense and the stakes will be high."

NBC host Carson Daly announced Aguilera's return as a coach to the show Oct. 14.

During her break from the prestigious reality show, Aguilera focused on losing weight by following a disciplined body after baby program. According to Radar, the beautiful Pop singer is a busy mom of two. She is breastfeeding and is only eating about 1, 600 calories daily to regain her sexy body.

Aside from body after baby program, she is also into treadmill, boxing, yoga, meditation and has constant workout with her trainer.

The Grammy winner gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Summer Rain Rutler on August 16. The pop star also has another child, Max, 6 with her former husband Jordan Bratman.
