Adele's performance "All I Ask" might be ruined due to a technical glitch, but her mood lifted after the Grammys thanks to a tasty meal.
The 27-year-old "25" singer, who dropped a few pounds for her upcoming tour, performed "All I Ask" during the telecast, but sound issues made it difficult to hear her lyrics and caused Adele's vocals to fall flat.
At the Staples Center where the Grammy Awards were being held, Adele's sound was vastly different from what viewers heard on the TV, making them think that it was probably sound issues with the Grammy's broadcasting equipment.
However, later on, Adele went on to explain the awkwardness of Grammy 2016 performance on her Tweet, which said that "the piano mics fell on the piano strings" making an odd sound.
Following the phenomenon, she thought of treating herself for an In-N-Out treat and shared the same with her followers in another Tweet.
When the Recording Academy President Neil Portnow was asked about the mishap, he mentioned that the technical team did their best to switch over the audio during the performance, but it did create a second problem that resulted in the metallic sound.
"Typically that's a seamless process," Portnow said, according to USA Today. "It wasn't seamless. So you had a couple of seconds there where we did not have audio in the house. It was fixed in a matter of seconds, but we're never happy when something like that happens."
Portnow said the problems during the performance were "off-putting and certainly unexpected" for Adele.
"To Adele's credit, she did a fantastic job. She just went through it," he said.
Adele did a fantastic job in spite of the technical glitches! Kudos to her for her extra efforts after the "technical glitch" and maintaining the quality of her performance.
