Eva Longoria confirmed she is engaged to her boyfriend of two years, Jose Antonio Baston.
The Desperate Housewives actress announced the good news through a social media platform on Sunday. "Ummmm so this happened....#Engaged #Dubai #Happiness," Eva wrote on Twitter along with their sweet photo. In the snapshot, the 40 year old actress was kissing her 47 year old fiancé in the desert. Her left finger was also wearing a ring, but it is still unclear if it's the wedding ring.
The happy love birds were said to be in Dubai for the Global Gift Gala at the 2015 Dubai International Film Festival.
Longoria's upcoming exchange of vow to the President of Televisa is going to be her third marriage. Back in 2002, she was married to General Hospital actor Tyler Christopher, but confirmed in 2004 that they are divorcing. Shortly, since the split she met Tony Parker. The two began dating and announced their engagement in 2006.
"You know, Ryan, we aren't going to be crazy hush-hush about this and be dramatic trying to protect it, because we are so excited," Eva dished to Ryan Seacrest at that time. "It's going to be huge and beautiful, and we just can't wait."
In July 2007, Eva and Tony tied the knot in Paris. But the couple were tested right away after X17 ran a report alleged that Tony slept with a French model. The San Antonio Spurs point guard strongly denied the accusations and filed a lawsuit against the site for the defamation. The case was settled after the publication issued a public apology.
After three years, the estranged couple confirmed that they are divorcing. The divorce was filed in L.A, citing irreconcilable differences. "I still love my husband and I am sad that all of this is happening," Longoria said to E! News.
Although the estranged pair amicably proceeded with the divorce process, rumors were swirling around that the pair separated due to Tony's alleged cheating scandal with a fellow NBA wife.
