Kristin Cavallari Brother: Chicago Bears Quarterback Jay Cutler's Brother-in-law Reported Missing After His Car Is Found Abandoned

Utah police are currently searching for Michael Cavallari, the brother of Laguna Beach alum Kristin Cavallari, and the brother-in-law of Chicago Bears Quarterback Jay Cutler.

Sunday's loss to the San Francisco 49ers was painful, but Cutler is dealing with a much more serious issue.

Michael's 2014 Honda Civic was found abandoned on a highway in Grand County, Utah on November 27 according to a statement from the county sheriff's office.

According to a press release, Michael Cavallari's car was found 5 miles south of exit 175 on I-70 the day after Thanksgiving.

When law enforcement wasn’t able to locate the driver in their initial search of the area, they found that the car was registered to a San Clemente, California, resident believed to be Michael.

Authorities said the driver of the abandoned vehicle was positively identified as Michael Cavallari from credit card receipts that led to a convenience store in Monticello, Utah, where they saw him in a footage on the store's security system, suggesting that this is the last place he visited prior to going missing.

Although Kristin nor her husband, NFL quarterback Jay Cutler, have publicly commented about Michael’s strange disappearance, several outlets have identified Michael as Kristin’s brother.

The search for the 28-year-old reality star's brother comes just two weeks after she and her husband welcomed their third child, and first daughter, Saylor.

Their first son Camden was born in August 2012, their second son Jaxon was born in May 2014.

Kristin rose to fame in 2004 as a star on the reality show Laguna Beach, followed by The Hills with co-stars Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag.

Jay Cutler is an American football quarterback for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL).

Cutler began dating reality TV star Kristin Cavallari in the fall of 2010 and got married on June 7, 2013.
