DC Rumors: Is John Constantine Joining 'Legends Of Tomorrow?' Will Supergirl Make An Appearance In 'The Flash?'

The Thanksgiving weekend may have been all about Marvel's upcoming flick 'Captain America: Civil War,' but this doesn't mean that there was no DC updates!

According to BleedingCool, a source had shared some juicy casting news and future plans for the second season of 'Legends of Tomorrow.' The source had implied that the upcoming TV series (which hasn't even aired its first season yet) will be changing its cast members as well as their mission in every season, similar to the 'Justice League Unlimited' animated series. Because of this, DC is already planning to bring back a popular character who has already starred in his own TV show.

"It is planned for Matt Ryan's John Constantine to appear as a series regular in 2017's season two," the site wrote, adding that the paranormal detective will be getting some interesting company.

"The show is also looking to cast Steven R McQueen, who plays Jeremy Gilbert in 'The Vampire Diaries' as another new hero during season two as well," the site wrote.

That's not all; BleedingCool also got the scoop on a crossover event for 'The Flash' and ... no, not 'Arrow,' but a certain blond Kryptonian who stars in her own CBS TV series.

The same source with the 'Legends of Tomorrow' scoop had revealed that 'Supergirl' will be meeting up with Barry Allen and the rest of the STAR Labs team in an effort to boost ratings. The show, which was originally commissioned for 13 episodes, could be looking to add nine more episodes including a crossover with 'The Flash.'

But before you start marking your calendars for the future dates, BleedingCool also posted an update on the rumors with a reminder that all news must be taken with a grain of salt.

John Constantine recently made an appearance in 'Arrow,' while 'Supergirl' is currently airing on CBS every Monday nights.
