Ronda Rousey Finally Shows Her Face For The First Time Since Losing To Holly Holm in UFC 193

Ronda Rousey is finally out of hiding and even has a smile on her face.

The 28-year-old former UFC champion showed her face for the first time in Los Angeles on Thanksgiving and the day after after getting bruised and beaten by Holly Holm at UFC 193.

This is only the second time she’s been out in public since the fight, but she hid her face the first time around.

Rousey was joined by her partner Travis Browne, who is also a UFC fighter, and an unidentified young girl.

Ronda looked happy and relaxed while out and about on Thanksgiving and Black Friday, as seen in photos on TMZ. In one photo, Ronda was smiling while walking around with a little girl. She was out again on November 27 with her pit bull and boyfriend Travis Browne.

Following the knockout defeat in the second round, Rousey required plastic surgery to fix her busted lip.

Ronda suffered nasty injuries to her face as a result of the fight. The last time she was seen publicly was when she arrived to LAX on November 17, and she hid her face from the paparazzi cameras.

Rousey was issued a medical suspension by the UFC for 180 days, unless she presents a head CT that reveals no damage. She can’t fight again for 60 days and must avoid fighting contact or training for 45 days.

It was previously reported that Ronda’s “pride was shattered” after the loss, her first ever. “Physically she is feeling pretty rough but she will be fine,” a source told HollywoodLife. “The current situation she is dealing with most is that her pride has been shattered.”

Regardless, she intends to return to the ring in due time.

“I just wanted to thank everyone for the love and support,” Rousey wrote on Instagram last week in her only public statement since the loss.

“I appreciate the concerns about my health, but I’m fine. As I had mentioned before, I’m going to take a little bit of time, but I’ll be back.”
