It's a date night for Jodie Foster and wife Alexandra Hedison. The newly-wed attended the 66th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards held at Nokia Theater. The two were both stunning at the said event. The 51-year-old actress wore a simple black Max Mara gown while Alexandra, a photographer and Jodie's wife, wore a figure-hugging gown with crisscross pattern on top.
Foster was nominated for 'Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series', as reported by Daily Mail. She directed an episode for the popular series, "Orange in the New Black."
Foster and her new wife enjoyed their "date night." They attended Emmy's after party at the Chateau Marmont located on Sundet Boulevard. As cited by Yahoo TV, they continued to party the night away at a hosted party by HBO at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood.

Foster and Hedison romance started in 2013. After dating for almost a year, the couple decided to get married in April 2014. They exchanged vows in a very private ceremony. According to sources, the couple is really in love with each other. They are always trying to keep their relationship low-key. The pair had been photographed a couple of times, but the Emmy's is their first formal appearance as a married couple.
She used to be an actress but she claimed that acting is not really for her. She pursued her career as a photographer. Her first solo exhibit was in 2004 and it was hosted by The White Room Gallery in LA. Hedison was the former girlfriend of Ellen DeGeneres.
Before marrying Hedison, Foster was in a long-term relationship with Cydney Bernard which ended in 2008. The two were together for almost 20 years. They have two children, Charles, 16 and Kit, 13.
It was during her acceptance speech at the Golden Globe Awards that Foster came out as gay to the public.
