Dancing With The Stars Semifinals: Bindi Irwin Dazzles With Impressive Performance on DWTS

Bindi Irwin has just rocked the latest "Dancing With the Stars" semifinals episode after pulling off a jaw-dropping performance of Sia's "You're Never Fully Dressed Without A Smile" with her dance floor partner Derek Hough.

While Bindi Irwin remains a hot pick after getting a perfect score on Monday, November 16, placing her at the top for next week's finale, Terri and Robert Irwin just couldn't stop themselves from gushing their admiration for Bindi's performance.

"I think she's definitely growing up and Derek has a lot to do with that journey and it's been just beautiful." Terri told DWTS show host Erin Andrews. "I'm so proud of her."

Robert on the other hand, said "I think she's absolutely amazing, I'm so proud of her and you crushed it. That was that awesome."

Though Bindi Irwin lost some points for her salsa dance, as noted by DWTS judge Bruno Tonioli, which got them a score of 27, the actress-performer regained more points after winning the dance-off round with fellow contender, Nick Carter.

After slaying the dance floor with a winning score, Irwin took another perfect score for their incredibly amazing jazz routine. The stunning jazz performance was performed along with Derek Hough and Mark Ballas, adding that the trio had put some dramatic contemporary touches on the jazz routine, which featured a box frame and a light bulb as props.

After the performance, judge Tonioli called it "a totally compelling and intriguing work of genius", followed by fellow Judge Carrie Ann Inaba's comment, saying "This was not 'Dancing with the Star.' That was like a professional contemporary dance company."

Prior to the semifinals, Derek Hough gushed over their jazz routine performance, adding that it was something he had never tried doing before. He went on to explain the meaning of the light bulb in the rope, saying "The story is about how we isolate ourselves and we get imprisoned by our own issues and how we're all connected and we're bonded together."

The final contenders for the Dancing With The Stars finals week are Bindi Irwin, Carlos Pena Vega, Alek Skarlatos, and former 'Backstreet Boys' member Nick Carter.
