Actress Melissa George and her French entrepreneur boyfriend, Jean-David Blanc, have welcomed their second child together.
She took to Twitter to celebrate the big news, announcing the arrival of Solal Samuel Glenn Blanc.
"Solal Samuel Glenn Blanc. 4.2 kilo. I love you baby boy." the excited mother of two gushed, while also sharing the information that the healthy baby born on November 3, weighed 4.2 kilos.
Melissa and Glenn began dating in 2011 and already share a son, 16-month-old Raphael Blanc. He was born at the American hospital of Paris. During that time George tweeted, "THERE ARE NO WORDS TO DESCRIBE THE LOVE."
George continued on her personal website. "My journey to motherhood is what I am the most proud of. I am the mother of two beautiful sons.''
"It's no secret that I've always wanted to be a mother, and every time I had a birthday I would just be a little bit sad. You don't mind clicking over another number when you've got something inside you, growing, that you've always dreamed about."
She recently posted. "Thank you to my love, JeanDavid, for giving me the best gift in my life. I love you."
Back in June, Us Weekly confirmed that Melissa was pregnant with her second child, and that, due to her pregnancy, NBC would be pushing back the premiere of her new medical drama, Heartbreaker.
In the upcoming NBC series, which also stars Jamie Kennedy and Dave Annable, Melissa plays transplant surgeon Alex Panttiere.
George's most recent work includes the thriller A Lonely Place to Die (2011), the Australian drama series The Slap (2011), for which she won a Logie Award for Most Outstanding Actress, the British-American spy drama series Hunted (2012), and the drama series The Good Wife (2013–14).
In 2015, she starred in the American adaptation of The Slap, playing the same character as she did in the Australian adaptation, which aired on NBC.
