Robin Thicke Dedicates Song to Wife Paula Patton After Announcing Split (VIDEO)

Robin Thicke isn't ready to give up on his nearly nine-year marriage.

According to People Magazine, the "Blurred Lines" singer made it clear at his Thursday night show in Fairfax, Va., that he is fighting for his marriage; he dedicated a song to his estranged wife during his first concert after their breakup.

"For those of you who don't know, my wife and I got separated a few days ago, and I want everybody here to know that I'm trying to get my girl back," the 36-year-old singer told the audience. "She's a good woman."

Thicke then went on to sing "Lost Without U." In the song's video Patton played her husband's love interest.

"I'm going to need you guys to help me through this," Thicke said as he turned away from his fans to reportedly hide his emotions.

People magazine reported that the pair, who met twenty-two years ago at an underage L.A. club, announced that they had decided to separate.

"We will always love each other and be best friends," the couple released a joint statement regarding their separation. "However, we have mutually decided to separate at this time."

The couple married in June 11, 2005, and welcomed their son, Julian, in April 2010. Thicke was reportedly still wearing his wedding ring, while Patton has removed hers.

An insider told Us Weekly: "Robin wanted to save their marriage, but it was Paula's choice and she ended it. Robin does not want this divorce."
