Already a global superstar who regularly tops the charts and turns heads with her high fashion style on the red carpet, Rihanna is yet again expanding her incredible empire. The 27-year-old has launched a new beauty and styling agency called Fr8me, working with some of the industry's top make-up artists and stylists.
RiRi’s beauty agency is just one of the many new projects she’s embarked on, including her photo agency, A Dog Ate My Homework.
With sell-out collaborations with MAC and several of her own fragrances, including her newest addition, RiRi by Rihanna, the singer is no stranger when it comes to the beauty world. But instead of making the beauty products, her new company will focus on helping artists book everything from editorial shoots and ad campaigns to red carpet events.
"Hair, make-up and styling play an important role in creativity," the Umbrella hitmaker told The Hollywood Reporter. "I am very involved with that part of my process, so this agency was an organic thing for me to do."
RiRi already has a laundry list of talent signing on with her, including her makeup artist Mylah Morales, Taraji P. Henson's stylist Jason Bolden, Fergie's hairstylist Patricia Morales, and the Smith family's Marcia Hamilton.
â"We are lucky enough to have some of the best artists at Fr8me," adds Rihanna. "But I also have a soft spot for finding new talent with extraordinary skills!" â
But Rihanna’s new agency didn’t just happen overnight. The pop diva has embarked on the new venture with managing partner Benoit Demouy – the new Los Angeles-based agency will focus on working with artists to help them book adverts, photoshoots and red carpet gigs.
Much like she discovered BBHMM video star Sanham, Rihanna and her squad will be looking to Instagram for hidden talent.
Meanwhile in the styling world, not only does Rihanna regularly top best-dressed lists, but she has also landed major roles including being named the creative director of sportswear label Puma, as well as becoming the face of Dior.
