Justin Bieber, during his guest appearance at Ellen DeGeneres' talk show, announced that he is not only releasing a new album entitled "Purpose" but that he is also preparing for a tour which is said to begin by March 2016.
It has been three years since Bieber had a successful international tour. Unfortunately, that was all he could provide during his weeklong stint at the said show.
"I'm actually going on tour. That's my big news," Bieber said.
In an attempt to provide his fans and viewers with the details, Bieber resorted to asking Ellen and someone offstage about his tour dates. Thankfully, he was saved by a graphic at the bottom of the screen displaying one bit of information: the concert will start on March 9, 2016.
Although other dates of the tour is yet to be announced, pre-selling of the tickets will commence this week on EllenTV.com and more ticket sales next week.
His new album Purpose, on the other hand, is set to be released on November 13. The album will feature three singles - "What Do You Mean?," "I'll Show You" and "Sorry."
On the other hand, "Beliebers" have took to different social media sites to express their excitement on the announcement.
As a result of such, the hashtag #PURPOSETOUR trended worldwide on Twitter following the announcement. Some of the fans unable to contain their excitement tweeted that "If Justin announces that he'll come to PH for the #PURPOSETOUR I'm desparately beg on streets for money."
Today has been a good day for both Bieber and his "Beliebers."
