WARNING: POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD!
"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is almost here, and while it may be too late for more rumors or potential spoilers, another one has recently come out, and it involves Finn's potential father.
According to Screen Rant, the new "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" speculation is that Finn (John Boyega) is the son of Lando Calrissian. The potential reveal came out after a "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" merchandise went for sale on Amazon.

Comic Book first made the reveal that Finn could be Lando Calrissian's son. On the Amazon product is the images of Finn, and the product listing read, "Star Wars RARE COLLECTIBLE! New Episode 7 "Finn" (Lando Calrissian's Son) 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle in Collectible Storage Tin."
Lando is the previous owner of the Millennium Falcon. A gambler/smuggler, Lando later joined the Rebel Alliance. Calrissian has also hinted of possible appearances in the next set of "Star Wars" films.
At the moment, the new "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" rumor remains a rumor, as neither Lucasfilm nor Disney has confirmed the product's authenticity, according to The Inquisitr.
However, it is worth mentioning Screen Rant's note that the product listed on Amazon has been credited to Disney Lucas Films Ltd., which isn't a real company. Amazon products are reportedly listed by their sellers, and while the "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" jigsaw puzzle seller has an insight about Finn's father, it's possible that the seller got his information wrong. It also hasn't been the first time that a fan connected a "Star Wars" merchandise to a character's backstory.
Meanwhile, it is entirely possible that Finn's father could be someone famous, especially since he has no last name like Rey's character. When asked about this, director J.J. Abrams told Entertainment Weekly, "I will only say about that that it is completely intentional that their last names aren't public record."
The mysterious reply does pique fans interest, however, it's no guarantee that Finn's would be recognizable once "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" hits theaters this December. Meanwhile, what is sure about Finn's character is that he is a Stormtrooper who later teams up with Rey and the Resistance to battle the Empire - The First Order. Since he's already appeared in several scenes battling using a lightsabre, no doubt Finn will be some sort of here in the upcoming film.
"Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens" is set for release December 18, 2015.
