'Supernatural' 11X05 Recap: Amara Is Getting Closer To Dean Winchester While The Legend Of Lizzie Borden Comes Alive [SPOILERS]

[SPOILER ALERT! THE FOLLOWING ARTICLE HAS DETAILS FROM THE 'SUPERNATURAL' EPISODE 'THIN LIZZIE']

The latest episode of 'Supernatural' Season 11 has just proven that Sam and Dean Winchester are officially back to hunting, but the Darkness continues to grow even stronger!

'Thin Lizzie' is the fifth episode of the season, and it features the classic mix that makes a 'Supernatural' episode stand out: a popular myth (Lizzie Borden's alleged murder of her parents), a series of unsolved murders, a lot of humor and even a title that pays tribute to a classic rock band. In addition to that, the episode ties the case to the season's current Big Bad, making sure to remind the viewers (and Sam and Dean) that there's a bigger fish to fry.

There is also a sense of realism here; although many would assume that the idea of turning Lizzie Borden's house into a bed and breakfast is something the 'Supernatural' writers came up with, the house has indeed been accepting guests since 1996. However, it is most certainly not haunted.

But in 'Thin Lizzie,' it happens to be a crime scene where one of the hotel owners was killed. As Sam and Dean investigate, they find that the house is rigged for fake paranormal activities and that a killer is on the loose. The bodies pile up and the Winchesters realize that the killings were done by Sidney, a babysitter who has openly given up her soul to Amara.

Although 'Thin Lizzie' hints at the grim future of a world filled with soulless people, the episode also presented the possibility that all is not lost for people like Len. Although the man has lost his soul to Amara, he still saves the Winchesters and turns himself in to the police.

On the other hand, Amara's powers continue to grow, and she is seen promising to see Dean Winchester soon.

'Our Little World,' the sixth episode on 'Supernatural' Season 11 will premiere on The CW on November 11.
