After Lamar Odom was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel earlier this month, Khloe Kardashian immediately flew to Las Vegas and never left the former NBA player's side.
The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star has mostly kept silent throughout the whole ordeal, but has now broken her silence to open up about her relationship with Lamar Odom to People magazine.
After hearing the news of Lamar Odom's status that same day, Khloe recalls: "All I knew was I had to get there." She added, "I had to get to him and make sure he was okay. I hate that he was in that situation. I wouldn't want anybody in that situation, especially someone I love and care about."
It was just last week when reports surfaced that Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom were calling off their divorce.
However, in this latest interview, Khloe clarifies that the decision regarding the divorce doesn't mean that the estranged couple are getting back together. Khloe Kardashian told People:
"It's out in the media that we are back together, but I wish people understood that's not in our thought process right now. [...] There are too many other important things, too many medical things. It's not even in our brains thinking about us as a couple or having a relationship right now."
The publication reports:
"Though she remains loyal to the vows she once took, Kardashian says, 'There are too many other important things, too many medical things. It's not even in our brains thinking about us as a couple or having a relationship right now.
"'I loved him always, and I will always love him,' she says. 'I don't believe love is fickle. I believe when you love someone, you are allowed to love from afar. You don't have to be with that person in order to love him.'"
Khloe Kardashian net worth is $25 million. She reportedly earns $40,000 per episode.
