Christina Milian Lil Wayne Breakup: Singer Still In Love With Rapper Even After Split

Christina Milian reveals that she is still in love with her ex-boyfriend Lil Wayne. The singer-songwriter is not ashamed to admit her true feelings for the rapper.

Christina Milian and Lil Wayne recently ended their relationship which lasted for almost a year. Even though the dating activities of the two stopped, the 34-year-old singer's love for the 'Love Me' singer remains.

"What's fantastic about everything is that we're adults and we understand maybe it is not the right time for us. But we do love each other," Milian stated.

The American singer and actress who starred in the 2013 film 'Baggage Claim' unveiled the truth behind their breakup. According to the 'Miss You Like Crazy' singer, decision to split was motivated by their desire to preserve their friendship which they value more than anything else.

"The best thing is to preserve our friendship and not ruin it by trying to force it," said Milian in an interview.

"It takes a big man and a big woman to say, 'I'm in love with you but I can't keep forcing it -- and it's only pushing us apart,'" the actress revealed.

Christina Milian and Lil Wayne showed maturity in handling their relationship. Though there are no longer romantic attachments between the two, they believe that the right time will come for them.

"There might be a right time. This might be just it, and at the end of the day we're still here. We talk to each other still every day," Milian said.

When Christina Milian how Lil Wayne treated her as a girlfriend, the actress' response hints that she is still really attracted to the rapper. Milian revealed how nice the '6 Foot 7 Foot' singer was to her. Being both adventurous, the two always try exploring new things.

"I think that's one of the most exciting things about relationships, is being spontaneous," she added.

The former couple recently issued their new duet entitled 'Do It' which shows their chemistry.
