On Saturday, in high respect of the National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, CBS Radio, as one of the largest owners and operators of radio stations in the United States, hosted its yearly "We Can Survive" benefit concert at the venue used primarily for music performances - Hollywood Bowl.

The "We Can Survive" benefit concert's hit-filled sets came from Canadian singer, songwriter and record producer - The Weeknd, Sam Smith (Stay With Me Hitmaker), American pop rock band - Maroon 5, the Cool for the Summer singer - Demi Lovato, and the singer and actor best known as one of the members of the pop rock band Jonas Brothers - Nick Jonas.

The Barbadian singer and songwriter - Rihanna, closed out the concert with a surprise performance. As the special guest headliner Rihanna (who started her career upon meeting record producer Evan Rogers in late 2003) took the stage of what had already been a star-laden night, including the last U.S. appearance of English singer-songwriter Sam Smith, before Smith returns to recording in the studio to follow up his smash debut, In The Lonely Hour.

Rihanna, who donned a pinstriped suit and lacy yellow bustier, opened her performance with "Bitch Better Have My Money," and ran over with her hits like "Umbrella," "Stay," "We Found Love," and "Pour It Up." And as the "We Can Survive" concert's fireworks exploded over the Hollywood Bowl, Rihanna ended with the track "Diamonds."

However, the "We Can Survive" concert started early for a select group of lucky fans as the Australian pop punk band - 5 Seconds Of Summer came out around 4:30 local time for the Citibank soundcheck, in which the group that were originally YouTube celebrities, first sat on the front of the stage to deal with a few questions from the musical artist - DJ Booker. Then 5 Seconds Of Summer performed a mini-set for the excited densely packed crowd of people in the front pit.
