Zendaya Slams a Magazine for Slimming Her Thighs and Torso in Photoshop

American singer, actress and model - Zendaya, is striking a magazine after releasing photos of her with a slimmed down torso, thighs and hips by using Photoshop.

Zendaya Maree Stoermer Coleman, better known as Zendaya, recently did a photo shoot with Modeliste magazine, but it turns out that the images Zendaya saw contradict quite dramatically from the actual photos.

The singer stated in her Instagram post together with the two images, "Had a recent photo shoot come out today and I collide violently when I found my 19 year old torso and hips quite manipulated. These are the stuff that make women self conscious, that create the unrealistic standard of perfection of the beauty that we have," "Any person who knows who I am knows I stand for sincere and pure self love. So I took it upon myself to release the real image (right side) and I have an intense feeling of deep affection for it."

After the magazine heard the complaint of  the "Dancing With the Stars" participant when she was only 16 years old, the magazine deleted the photos in question. And Zendaya expressed gratitude to the publication for pulling down the photos and their action of fastening the "retouch" issue.

The leading national public health institute in the United States - Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has previously raised the be about over the media depiction of a person and the health relevances it may have on young women.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention stated in a recent study on body image, "The matter regarded as unwelcome is that many of the photos children see in the social media bear little relationship to real life. As stated by the National Eating Disorders Association, while the average woman is 5'4" tall and weighs 140 pounds, the average model is 5'11" and weighs 117 pounds. In addition, media techniques ranging from airbrushing to the use of "body doubles" create photographs that are visually arresting, but simply no reflection of reality."
