‘Star Wars’ YouTube: First Full Trailer For ‘Force Awakens’ Released Along With Premiere Tickets – Where Is Luke Skywalker? [VIDEO]

After months waiting for a full-length trailer of the most widely expected film of 2015, the seventh installment of George Lucas' biggest creation, "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens," finally fans all over the world have the chance to see the largest "Star Wars" YouTube footage to date - but one key player remains missing.

In the previous months, other "Star Wars" YouTube ventures have shown some of the series' most famous characters, including Harrison Ford reprising his role as Han Solo and Carrie Fisher playing Princess Leia once again, but the top act of the show, Luke Skywalker himself (Mark Hamill) is still a now-show.

As The Guardian reports, the newest "Star Wars" YouTube addition comes less than two months ahead of the film's release, weeks after the toys have reached stores; and still, one of the biggest shocks is that Luke is still nowhere to be found.

There are plenty of theories regarding whether Hamill's iconic character has been present in previous "Star Wars" YouTube teasers (or even posters for the upcoming film), but it has been said that the cloaked figure with a bionic arm petting R2D2 in previous footage could be Darth Vader's son, as he famously lost his arm battling his father in "The Empire Strikes Back."

According to BBC, the reaction to the new "Star Wars" YouTube footage was, as it was expected, no less than frantic: social media was exploding all over the world with excitement over the first lines of new characters such as John Boyega's Finn and Adam Driver's Kylo Ren, the film's village and a man clearly obsessed with keeping Darth Vader's legacy alive.

As Deadline reports, while the trailer was officially released on ESPN and later posted on YouTube, tickets for the first few weeks of showings also started worldwide sales, and fans of the saga crashed selling websites, most notably Fandango.

In any case, the waiting is nearly over: watch the "Star Wars" YouTube trailer below!
