Zayn Malik was the one to break off his engagement to Perrie Edwards but almost three months later, he’s apparently rethinking his decision. While Zayn seems to have totally moved on with a PR girl named Carlyn Bryan, reports have surfaced that Zayn has actually been in touch with Perrie to profess that he misses her.

“Zayn has started messaging Perrie again saying he misses and still loves her,” a source revealed to the Daily Star Sunday, adding, “So far they haven’t met up and Zayn hasn’t actually said he wants to get back together, just that he misses her.”

Zayn ended their four-year relationship earlier this year with a single message out of the blue, despite having planned a wedding with the Little Mix star.

He has since been seen with a string of girls, something which a source close to Perrie says is "killing her."

And friends of Perrie fear that she will take him back.

Perrie really struggled with the breakup, and is seemingly beginning to do much better moving on.

In fact, Perrie might even have a new man herself — she has recently been linked to TOWIE star Joey Essex. Although his rep turned down the rumors, it sounds like the fact that there could be another guy in Perrie’s life could have Zayn realizing what he lost.

But new man or not, according to the Daily Star insider, Perrie can’t get past Zayn. “Although Perrie is trying to be strong and move on, it’s obvious to everyone around her she’s still in love with Zayn.” The source added, “Her friends are worried if he begs her to take him back she could crumble.”

But would she be willing to go back to Zayn and plan the rest of her life with him?
